Q: Where is my package?
A: You can track your package by going to www.ups.com. Once there, there is a link on the first page to track your package.
Q: How much is shipping within the US and what method is used?
A: We ship via UPS within the Continental U.S. Lower 48 States. UPS Ground (5-7 Business Days)Flat Rate: 7.95. UPS Air (Overnight) Flat Rate: 22.95. Orders will be processed the same day or the next day after receiving the order.
ProTeam GPS Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
All of our new products are new in box and fully guaranteed by the manufacturer. The complete warranty is included with any product for sale at ProTeam GPS. The manufacturers' warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to the conditions set forth by the manufacturer, in most cases up to one year. We also offer Remanufactured or Refurbished GPS units.
ProTeam GPS offers a generous return policy to ensure total customer satisfaction:
As of the day ProTeam GPS ships your order, we offer a 30-day return policy on all items. Your return must be received at our location by the 30th day after shipment of your order or your return will be refused. After the 30-day period, customers must contact the manufacturer for direct return or repair information.
ProTeam GPS will exchange defective units and parts to the customer with no restocking fees. Customers seeking to return for a refund, not exchange, defective items will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. Customers may also replace defective items with other items of equal or greater value with no fees; you are not obligated to replace with the same model.
For unopened items, there is no return fee to receive Proteam GPS store credit or exchange for another item of equal or greater value, but to receive a refund, there is a 5% restocking fee.
For opened, non-defective items (excluding software), there is a 5% fee to receive ProTeam GPS store credit, or a 10% fee to receive a refund.
Please note: All exchanged/returned merchandise must be in original factory condition, including all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, and all accessories. For this reason, units that have been installed, cracked, severely scratched, abused, or that are missing the original UPC code on the box will not be accepted for return or credit and must be returned directly via the manufacturer. In addition, any software, including pre-programmed datacards, that have been opened can only be returned directly to the manufacturer. Extended warranties that have been opened or registered, may not be returned. (You may contact the manufacturer and transfer it to another product, however). We can only offer a refund using the form of payment originally used by the customer.
Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the package! Before you send merchandise back, please be sure to check that you have not left any of your own memory cards or other accessories in the unit.

Please Note: Proteam GPS cannot be held responsible for packages until they are delivered to us, so please use a trackable and insured means of shipping (UPS or Fedex) or at get Delivery Confirmation and insurance with USPS priority mail. For most returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees. For all returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for freight both ways, except defective merchandise. for defective merchandise, ProTeam GPS will reimburse ground shipping fees, if you send us your shipping receipt, up to $7.95.
Please check your order as soon as it is received. We allow only 48 hours from time of delivery to make any claims for missing or damaged items. If your package arrived open please check contents before you accept the package. Inform delivery personnel of any problems. If you do not receive your order within 30 days of receiving our shipment notification email, please be sure to contact us by the 30th day after shipment so that we can file a claim with the shipping carrier and reship your order. Unfortunately, ProTeam GPS cannot be held responsible for claims of non-receipt past 30 days after shipment.
Once we receive your return we will ship your replacement or process your credit within 3-5 business days. When returning an item, please do not initiate a chargeback with your credit card company. We will credit your card for your return, and a chargeback will only delay processing of your return. We vigorously work with law enforcement authorities to investigate and prosecute the fraudulent use of credit cards.

Q: Why are some of these units Remanufactured or Refurbished?
A: We are unsure of the exact reason units are refurbished, but units can be refurbished for three (3) main reasons. First, and most common, is that they fail a checkpoint in the factory during their initial build. When this happens, Garmin starts the inspection process over and the products are marked as refurbished. Another reason is that the unit was defective and returned or sent in for repair by a customer. These units are repaired and the cases are replaced while the software is reinstalled. The last reason is that the units are returned, with no defect, because the customer was unhappy with the unit. These have new cases put on as well as software reinstalled. In all cases, the units will come in plain white boxes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. They come with all the parts listed under 'Package Includes'.
Q: How do I identify Remanufactured or Refurbished products?
A: We note these products on our site with the words 'REMAN'or under the category 'Refurbished'. When you see the 'REMAN'or 'Refurbished' words, you know you're in for a great deal on a fantastic product!
Q: Will Remanufactured or Refurbished products come in different packaging?
A: By law, product packaging must state if an item is newly overhauled or refurbished. Consequently, some items will arrive in a regular retail box with a sticker indicating that the item is newly overhauled, refurbished, reconditioned, or factory-serviced, or may come repackaged in a plain white box. Enclosed manuals may refer to accessories (carry cases, data cards, or transducers, for example) that are not included with the newly overhauled, refurbished or reconditioned product. Be sure to read over the product information page on our site for a list of accessories included with newly overhauled or refurbished products.
Q: What makes a Remanufactured or Refurbished item such an excellent purchase?
A: Remanufactured or Refurbished products maintain high quality standards. Each item is checked at least twice for proper working condition and quality. In fact, Newly Overhauled or Refurbished goods have a very low rate of return. The price you pay for a remanufactured or Refurbished item is much lower than retail price.
Q: Do you do discounts for education, military, government, or large orders?

Q: What are the state laws for California and Minnesota about mounting the GPS unit on the windshield?
A: State law prohibits drivers in California and Minnesota from using suction mounts on their windshields while operating motor vehicles. Other dashboard or friction mounting options should be used. All Companies listed on our website and/or ProTeam GPS do not take any responsibility for any fines, penalties, or damages that may be incurred as a result of disregarding this notice.
